At ARC Ento Tech, we are dedicated to tackling the global issue of mixed solid waste (MSW) management. Our innovative ARC Process™ is a comprehensive system that transforms waste into environmentally friendly, commercially viable products. We convert MSW into high-grade insect meal, nutrient-rich fertiliser, and an industrial reductant that can replace coking coal. This reduces landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions while producing valuable products.

What is the company focused on now?

We are currently focused on building our first full-scale plant to implement the ARC Process™ on a larger scale. This facility will enable us to manage higher volumes of MSW, further proving the environmental and commercial potential of our solution. Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact of landfills while creating sustainable products for use across industries, from agriculture to manufacturing.

Why did you seek an R&D Loan? What did it help you achieve?

As we set out to build our first full-scale plant, the scale and complexity of the ARC Process™ required substantial capital investment, particularly for infrastructure and process optimisation. While we were expecting an R&D tax refund, the delay in accessing those funds would have stalled our progress at a critical moment. Kashcade’s R&D loan bridged that gap, providing us with the capital we needed to move forward without interruption. This enabled us to maintain momentum in our plant development and continue advancing our waste processing technology.

What was your experience like with Kashcade?

Kashcade was approachable and their team moved quickly to understand our needs. Josh from the Kashcade team was previously a chemical engineer, so he had a good grasp of the technical demands we were facing. The entire experience was efficient and straightforward, giving us the freedom to focus on scaling our plant without getting bogged down in administrative hurdles. The ability to move quickly and work with a team that understood both our industry and the financial requirements made all the difference
